Additional Support to Help You Put Therapy into Practice
Behavioral Coaching is available as an optional add-on service for clients who are actively engaged in individual therapy at CBTeam. Coaching is designed to complement your therapy by providing additional support as you practice exposure exercises, strengthen new skills, and apply your treatment plan in real-world settings.
While your lead clinician guides your overall treatment plan, your Behavioral Coach helps you bridge the gap between therapy sessions by providing structured, individualized support in everyday life. Together, your therapist and Behavioral Coach work collaboratively to help you build confidence, overcome obstacles, and make meaningful progress toward your goals.

What Coaching Can Look Like
Behavioral Coaching is individualized based on your treatment goals and may include:
Behavioral Coaches work closely with your lead clinician to ensure every coaching session aligns with your treatment goals and overall care plan. Every member of our clinical team receives specialized training and ongoing supervision, providing coordinated, consistent care throughout treatment.
Complimentary Nudges
Some clients benefit from additional encouragement between sessions without needing the level of support provided through Behavioral Coaching. For these clients, CBTeam offers Nudges, a complimentary service available to active clients.
Nudges provide brief reminders, encouragement, accountability, and problem-solving through text messages, emails, or phone calls to help clients stay engaged with therapy homework and continue making progress between sessions. The frequency and duration of Nudges are individualized and determined collaboratively with your therapist.
Nudges may be especially helpful for clients experiencing executive functioning challenges, OCD or anxiety symptoms, neurodivergence, depression, or difficulty following through with therapy homework and treatment goals.
Is Behavioral Coaching Right for You?
Behavioral Coaching is not necessary for every client. Your therapist will work collaboratively with you to determine whether Behavioral Coaching, Nudges, or weekly therapy alone is the best fit for your treatment goals. Together, we’ll develop the level of support that best helps you build confidence, maintain momentum, and create meaningful, lasting change.
