Psychological Testing & Assessments for Adults

Gain Clarity. Find Answers. Move Forward with Confidence.

If you’ve been wondering what’s really behind challenges with attention, learning, anxiety, OCD, mood, or other emotional or developmental concerns, a comprehensive psychological assessment can provide answers.

At CBTeam, we offer comprehensive psychological testing and diagnostic assessments to clarify diagnoses, identify strengths and challenges, and provide personalized recommendations for treatment, school, work, and everyday life.

Who Can Benefit from an Assessment?

A comprehensive assessment may be helpful if you are:

  • Wondering whether ADHD, OCD, anxiety, autism, a learning disorder, or another condition may explain your experiences.
  • Receiving conflicting opinions or previous diagnoses that don’t fully explain your challenges.
  • Seeking diagnostic clarity before beginning or changing treatment.
  • Looking for recommendations to support success at school, work, or in everyday life.
  • Hoping to better understand your strengths, challenges, and support needs.

Our goal is to provide more than a diagnosis—we help you understand what is happening, why it is happening, and the most effective next steps forward.

Assessment Services

Our comprehensive evaluations combine standardized testing, clinical interviews, behavioral observations, and other assessment measures to develop a thorough understanding of your strengths, challenges, and diagnostic profile.

These evaluations may:

  • Clarify OCD, anxiety, mood disorders, and related conditions.
  • Diagnose or rule out ADHD.
  • Evaluate for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), when clinically indicated.
  • Identify learning disorders, including dyslexia.
  • Provide documentation for medication providers, schools, or workplace accommodations, when appropriate.

When clinically appropriate, formal diagnoses are provided based on standardized testing, clinical interviews, behavioral observations, and established diagnostic criteria. If symptoms do not meet full diagnostic criteria, we still provide clear clinical impressions and individualized recommendations to guide treatment and future planning.

Comprehensive testing is especially helpful when symptoms overlap, previous diagnoses do not fully explain an individual’s experiences, or a more in-depth evaluation is needed to guide treatment and support planning.

Please note: We do not provide evaluations for traumatic brain injury (TBI), dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, or other neurodegenerative conditions.

Not everyone requires a comprehensive testing battery. For some individuals, a diagnostic clinical interview provides the clarity needed to better understand symptoms, establish diagnostic impressions, and develop appropriate treatment recommendations.

Your clinician will determine whether a diagnostic interview or comprehensive psychological assessment is the most appropriate evaluation based on your referral concerns and clinical presentation.

What You’ll Receive

Every assessment includes a comprehensive, strengths-based report prepared by a licensed clinician with specialized assessment experience.

Your report typically includes:

  • A summary of presenting concerns.
  • Areas of strength and challenge.
  • Diagnostic impressions and, when appropriate, formal diagnoses.
  • Personalized recommendations for treatment, school, work, or community support.

Our goal is not simply to provide test results or a diagnosis, but to provide meaningful clarity, practical recommendations, and a roadmap for next steps.

What to Expect

  • Testing is conducted in person at our Lexington, Massachusetts office.
  • Assessment appointments typically run from 10:00 AM–3:00 PM.
  • Scheduled breaks are built into the day.
