Meet Emily

Emily is a Behavioral Coach at CBTeam and a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at Suffolk University, an APA-accredited PhD program. She is a member of CBTeam’s 2026–2027 doctoral practicum cohort, where she receives specialized training, one-on-one supervision, and ongoing consultation in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and evidence-based treatment for OCD and anxiety disorders. Working alongside our licensed clinicians, Emily supports children, adolescents, and adults in both individual and intensive treatment settings while progressively developing her clinical knowledge, skills, and professional responsibilities.

Previously, Emily worked as an inpatient Mental Health Specialist at McLean Hospital, where she led group therapy, conducted crisis intervention and de-escalation, and delivered direct psychiatric care to individuals presenting with psychotic symptoms and significant functional impairment. Outside of work, Emily enjoys petting dogs and reading fiction. Emily strives to create a warm, collaborative environment where clients feel supported as they work toward their goals. She believes even difficult work can leave room for the occasional laugh and hopes clients leave sessions feeling encouraged and more confident in their ability to face challenges.
