Meet Juliana

Juliana is a doctoral candidate in Clinical Psychology at William James College. She completed graduate practicum training at the Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Institute (OCDI) Jr., McLean Hospital, Affiliate of Harvard Medical School, where she received intensive training in McLean’s world-class approach to treating obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and anxiety disorders using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). During her training, she provided individual therapy, coached ERP sessions, facilitated ACT groups, worked closely with parents and families, and collaborated within an interdisciplinary treatment team to support adolescents with complex presentations.

Throughout her doctoral training, Juliana has sought diverse clinical experiences across outpatient community mental health, neuropsychological assessment, school-based services, and hospital settings. She has worked with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing OCD, anxiety disorders, trauma-related concerns, depression, and neurodivergence. As a bilingual clinician, she is passionate about increasing access to evidence-based care for multilingual and multicultural communities.

Juliana’s therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and evidence-based. She believes that meaningful change occurs when clients feel understood while also being gently challenged to move toward the lives they want to live. She strives to help individuals build flexibility, resilience, and confidence through personalized treatment grounded in compassion and scientific research.

Outside of work, Juliana enjoys hiking throughout New England, painting watercolor florals, traveling, and spending time outdoors with her Shiba Inu.
