Clinical Training & Interests
After completing her bachelor’s degree, Moselle was selected for a one year post-baccalaureate research position in Miami, Florida. During this experience, Moselle developed a passion for researching and providing treatment to anxious youth. She was able to further pursue this interest during her graduate clinical training where she gained invaluable training experience treating severe anxiety disorders. For example, she completed a practicum in the residential and intensive outpatient program at McLean OCD Institute in Houston. Moselle also sought specialized training in treatment of young children with anxiety, OCD and related disorders. For example, she was awarded the opportunity to work as a therapist for children with selective mutism in a week-long intensive exposure-based treatment camp. Similarly, she was selected to be a camp counselor at an exposure-based treatment camp for children and adolescents with anxiety disorders during her predoctoral internship year.
Moselle joined CBTeam to continue her passion for providing intensive treatment to anxious youth, including working as a child specialist in the Intensive Outpatient Program and launching Camp Courage, a summer camp focused on intensive treatment of anxiety. Moselle has specific expertise in providing cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) with exposure and response prevention (ERP) to children and adolescents with anxiety disorders and obsessive-compulsive disorder. She also has specific training in comprehensive behavioral intervention for tics (CBIT) and habit reversal training (HRT) for skin picking and hair pulling. She uses warmth and compassion to work collaboratively with patients to help them face their fears and increase their independence.
Getting to Know Moselle
Moselle grew up in South Florida and, no surprise, loves going to the beach. However, since moving to New England Moselle has learned that she also loves the snow. In her spare time, Moselle likes to make homemade pasta or try a new Italian restaurant while talking with friends about popular T.V. shows and movies. Lastly, she has a very active tuxedo cat at home named Charlie and loves to hear about other’s furry friends!
